Google: A Gateway to Learning and Community

Working with Google was a dream come true. I was fortunate enough to have Saad Hamid as the community manager, who played a crucial role in my growth as an engineer. Saad not only provided me with valuable guidance but also introduced me to a community of like-minded individuals. Through this community, I made lasting friendships and gained exposure that I never could have imagined.

During my time at Google, I had the opportunity to lead and teach over 50 online coding boot camps, covering a wide range of topics including JavaScript, Flutter, Cyber Security, Python, and Machine Learning. These boot camps allowed me to refine my skills while empowering others through education. Additionally, I led online boot camps with over 100 participants on Google Meet, creating an interactive learning environment where knowledge was shared and collaborations flourished.

Zenveus: A Seniors' Startup Experience

Zenveus, founded by Kumail and Ehtesham, is a startup led by two prodigies. Joining Zenveus was a turning point in my engineering journey. Kumail and Ehtesham, as my seniors, provided me with invaluable guidance, helping me learn how to code and giving me a kickstart in my full-stack development journey. Their mentorship and expertise were instrumental in shaping my skills and professional growth.

During my time at Zenveus, I worked on various projects, utilizing technologies such as headless CMS(Contentful) to create custom APIs, collaborating with the tech and design teams to build complex charts using React Chart libraries, and revamping Zenveus' brand design and website using the Gatsby framework. Working with Zenveus allowed me to apply my skills and contribute to real-world projects under the mentorship of experienced professionals.

Being hired by Murtaza Millwala and joining Teamo introduced me to extraordinary mentors such as Murtaza Millwala, Sohaib Ishtiaq Malik and Hassaan Pasha. Working alongside these rockstars in the field of engineering was an experience I never imagined having in Pakistan. The guidance and perspective they provided reshaped my career and allowed me to explore engineering from a new perspective.

As part of Teamo's Accelerate program, I underwent rigorous software development training. The program equipped me with the skills to be a 10x remote employee, focusing on communication skills and providing exposure to the latest full-stack engineering practices. Through Teamo, I had the opportunity to work on assignments for top startups globally.

During my tenure at Teamo, I contributed to various projects, ranging from developing responsive websites for diverse clients to optimizing front-end and back-end performance. I worked with modern front-end technologies, conducted in-depth analysis to improve performance, resolved complex software issues, and participated in agile development methodologies. Working with cross-functional teams, I collaborated to define, design, and ship new features, constantly pushing the boundaries of innovation.
